They have amazing personalities and will recognize who feeds them almost immediately.

Hands down the best experience possible! I have been taking my time and doing my research to make sure our baby tortoise has a long and healthy life. So in the process I have been checking ads for baby leopard tortoises for a couple months. And was very surprised at how many places would not respond to any questions I had. Mainly I wanted to current pictures of available babies. Makes sense to see what your buying and pick something that you want. I fell in love with a baby posted with a huge yolk sac and showed interest in buying her/him when able. Randal assured me he would hold this one for me until the plastron fused and was healthy to ship. We watched the weather since the US was in a deep freeze and temperatures were too cold to ship. I HIGHLY RECOMEND!!! I placed my order on Wednesday at 5:30 or 5:45, and within 5 minutes Randal emails me saying he had received my order. A few moments later he says my order is ready to go. I was worried since I ordered late in the day Wednesday and thought they wouldn’t ship the baby until monday, but today (Thursday) I got my beautiful baby! As soon as I got him I opened the container carefully and he came out of his shell to look at me. The baby started looking around and tried to climb out! I put my hand out knowing he may not go on it since it can take time to connect and bind, but without hesitation, he looked at my hand and crawled out on it. I can not stress how professional and efficient he was with my order. We ended up emailing about Helix and other animals and children in need. The helix foundation is amazing. The customer service is extraordinary! And the baby is as healthy and active as can be!!
