I want to try to make sure that this review actually does justice for this overall experience. It’ll be hard to capture in words how memorable and incredible the experience was but I’m going to try. When I first came across the tortstork website I was apprehensive about how it could work and me being a skeptic person in nature required more research. I spoke to Randal himself, read through the vast amount of information on the website and listened to the turtle room podcast episode that Randal was on. I had originally planned to purchase a hatchling until I read the website information and listen to the podcast. After that I was excited to try a Instahatch egg. I was still a little nervous that it was something I could handle having no prior incubation or hatching experience. This is where Randal sets himself and his company above any other company I’ve ever worked with. He took the time to explain everything I needed, answer every question I had and walk me through the process in ways that I felt I best understood. I’m not sure this concept would work if it was run by anyone else. It’s because of the care and attention that Randal puts into the animals and making sure you experience this the best possible way. Every time we see or interact with our tortoise now my son and I can remember what it was like to watch him hatch and what it was like for this tortoise to come into the world in front of our eyes and be the first people the tortoise sees. You can’t put a price tag on those memories or this experience. I sincerely recommend tortstork if your looking to purchase a tortoise. His pricing is great as well! Also check out what he’s doing with Helix the tortoise. It’s amazing to see people that still care these days! We loved his Helix book too! I know the animals well being is important to Randal but he truly made me feel like I am important too and not just another customer. I will continue to support and recommend him and tortstork to everyone. If you’re at all apprehensive message Randal and talk to him. I could not have asked for a better experience with Tortstork. My tortoise egg arrived safely and in a timely manner and Randall was really great about answering my questions throughout the process.
