The egg is shipped 10 days before its predicted hatch date. Like a human’s due date, an Instahatch predicted hatch date is just an estimate. I ordered two insta-hatch eggs from TortStork and the experience has been amazing. The eggs arrived on October 13th and one of the eggs started to hatch just hours after opening the box. The second egg took a little longer and I was starting to worry, but Randal checked in very often to see how it was doing and has been very helpful throughout the whole process. Not to mention, he was always there to answer whatever question or concern that I had, within minutes. The second egg (finally!) hatched on the 19th and now both tortoises are doing amazing. They are incredibly cute and healthy and I could not be happier with them both. I would absolutely order from TortStork again. And you should too!

We have had the best experience with Randy and Tortstork! We got a Hermanns tortoise egg and he had hatched and is acclimating well. Randy seems to have a kind of intuition with the eggs.
