A friend gave me this Emu egg, and I’m gonna incubate it!!! It is extremely hard to hatch one of these. The temperatures have to be steady at 96.5F, you have to rotate the egg a few times a day, and weigh it to make sure it is properly losing a certain percentage of weight. If there is too much humidity the embryo will take on too much water inside the egg, swell and die. This is my first ever attempt at hatching one of these incredible birds and I can’t wait.
